December 28, 2018 Indoor & Outdoor

I’ve been working out consistently on my mag trainer/road bike set up. Focusing mostly on interval work, prepping for some hilly gravel races in the spring. Today (Dec 28th) was unusually warm, 58 F, so I was able to get out for a 25 milers before dark. 1500 ft of climbing in my standard gravel/trail training loop. Felt pretty good. The Hastings, MI race is 62 miles and about 3,000 ft so in my head, it would be about a double loop of my training ride, which today would be something I’m ready for. The Funk Bottom Gravel is 6-7000 ft with same distance so will need to step up for that. Got a Fitbit for Christmas which is nice, as I didn’t have a heart rate monitor before.  Happy riding out there.
